In April, the Training department ran multiple courses in a number of different locations. Feedback from three highly varied and successful sessions.

April 2017 was especially intense for the KOHLER SDMO Training Department. Notably featuring on the schedule were 3 courses in 3 locations covering 3 different subjects.
At one of the sites of our UK subsidiary in the town of Middlewich, our Portable Power After-sales Manager, Hervé Kerguiduff, gave a course on technical assistance for our residential gensets. Around a dozen employees of our subsidiary SDMO Energy Ltd were provided with the essentials for improving their product knowledge and after-sales services.

Next it was Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso for a course on control units at our distributor, PPI. Mathieu Claquin, an electrical trainer at SDMO Industries, ran this 1-week course for 11 employees from PPI's regional branch offices. It was an opportunity for them to use the APM802 training kit, with the ultimate objective of transferring the knowledge gained to other technicians by being able to reproduce and resolve breakdowns. It will also be used as a customer demonstration product.

Finally, 4 representatives from our Master Service Distributors from Russia and the Middle East were welcomed at the training centre in Brest. Under the supervision of Nicolas Pronost, mechanical trainer, during the 2-week course the trainees learned about the ECU engine, the diagnostics application and the maintenance operations for the KOHLER KD135 engine. This session is just one of the many to be run covering this topic for our partners and distributors.

These 3 major events were a perfect demonstration of the adaptability and versatility of the Training Department.
