First established in 1966 as SDMO Industries, Kohler Power Systems EMEA is a key player within the Kohler group and stands as one of the leading manufacturers in the global generating set market.
Kohler Power Systems, headquartered in Guipavas, near Brest, operates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
We are specialized in designing, manufacturing, and installing reliable and innovative generating sets for a diverse range of critical applications, including industry, healthcare, construction, and the rapidly expanding data center sector.
High-performance facilities and operations
Kohler's EMEA business, which designs, manufactures and installs generator sets from 2 to 4,500 kVA for industrial, commercial and residential applications, is managed from Brest.
Our facilities represent 42,800 M², including production areas, warehouses and headquarters.
Our plant includes high-quality assembly lines, test benches, a Research & Development unit, an ISO17025-accredited laboratory and a training center.
35,000 industrial and portable generators leave the Kohler factory every year.
